I bought 2 last Black… Read more Friday for £325 each and I was so impressed that I later went on to buy another one in the January sales for £333. The colours and the clarity of faced paced action is stunning. Another reviewer had issues with Freesync? This must be an outlier because all 3 of my monitors Freesync/;Multisync brilliantly. Prices have gone up since I bought mine, but it's still worth the money.
This is a beautiful monitor. I'm using it with Ubuntu 12.10 and the colours and everything look gre… Read moreat. I simply had to plug it into my machine (a Dell Inspiron 14z with an Intel HD 4000 integrated graphics card) and it worked perfectly. The resolutions were picked up correctly and the picture seems perfectly aligned to the edges etc. I really like the integrated USB hub, which makes it a bit like a docking station for my laptop - I leave my mouse and keyboard plugged into the screen and just connect two plugs to my laptop. The only downside for me was that my laptop only has HDMI out and the screen does not have HDMI in (it has DisplayPort, DVI-D and VGA/D-Sub). I bought a £2 HDMI-DVI-D male-male converter off Amazon and it works with no issues.
