I've had the Nespresso Magimix Vertuo Plus a month now and it's a very good product. I love that this machine you can use a number of different sizes capsules, from your espresso shot, right up to a large mug sized. I enjoy that the capsules are colour coded so you can easily find your favourite. This is by far one of the best coffee machines on the market. Very easy to use.

I had high hopes for this machine and I was not disappointed. Firstly It's really easy to use, with just a touch it opens. You insert the pod and press to close again. The pods are different sizes for different cup sizes and the machine dispenses the correct amount of coffee for the cup, so no guess work needed. When you open the machine again it dispenses the old pod into a bin at the back. The only negatives regarding the machine I have is it is larger than I thought it would be. Other negatives are in respect to the coffee itself as I found the coffee far too strong (however my husband loves the coffee), the pods are only available on the online and not in the supermarket, and you cannot get all in one pods for lattes etc. However, overall I do like this machine.

Love this machine, great addition to my kitchen and the coffee tastes amazing, with lots of cream that the machine generates . I love the design as it woks really well with my modern kitchen. The taste of the coffee is fab too, I would say more 'creamy' than previous styles I have tried . I like the fact that the machine 'knows' the size capsule you are putting on and will fill your cup more or less depending on it. Also I love all the different varieties offered, that can be paired with milk to make even more amazing coffees!

I'm amazed! I previously owned another capsule machine, which was simply a pain to use, everything was an effort for it, this machine, however is a wonder! Firstly, I was taken by the beautiful colour, also the weight of it screams quality. It is very substantial, which tells me that there is a lot more going on than meets the eye. The whole family watched the 'unveiling'. The automatic opening at the flick of a switch is so smooth and quiet, but also saves a lot of fiddling around with lids etc. What blew me away is that it even removes, and disposes of the capsules for you, once your delicious drink has been made! I ran the cleaning program prior to first use, and after every session. You can hear how thoroughly it is being cleaned, it takes a good amount of time to complete the cycle, but most importantly, you can see the evidence in the water which is expelled during the process. I love that you receive a recycling bag for the capsules , and are given various ways of returning them, be it drop off, or collection, another way to save time, and effort, and help the environment! The drinks themselves have something to suit all tastes, with varying strengths and sizes, and even a decaff option. I'm looking forward to trying some of the flavoured ones, and the iced drinks during the warmer months. There are some very helpful tips on how to prepare your drinks on the great app, where you get to contact your own coffee expert, as well as order all you need for your fab new machine. The cost per cup works out to be pennies, and is cost effective, whether it be daily or an occasional treat. Personally, I look forward to my next treat, and can leave it to 'brew' as I make children's lunches or breakfast, it also fills the kitchen with that wonderful fresh brewed coffee smell. Simply, I love this machine, it is beautiful to look at, takes up very little space, does everything at the touch of a button, and offers good quality, great tasting coffee in varying strengths from a gentle wake up, to you will not sleep for a week😁. You don't have to leave your home for anything for it, and the hardest part is choosing from the wonderful selection of pods.

After quite a few years of walking past these machines I finally took the plunge and can only say I wished I had taken it earlier. My husband drinks the most coffee in our house always cafetière which drives me mad with the constant washing out and messy coffee splashes. I just arrived home with our Nespresso Vertuo as a surprise and its taken a while but he has relented and uses it at least twice a day to have his beloved brew. I am usually a tea drinker however I have been enjoying exploring the amazing variety of flavours you can try. Mostly the 'mug' options as I like a large amount of liquid. It's a great, fullproof, clean, easy to operate and good looking machine. Recycling the capsules is something Nespresso takes seriously too and there are several options to keep the guilts at bay! My biggest concern was whether the coffee would be hot enough, as I do like a hot drink and this machine certainly delivers from the first cup. With the free capsules and machine on special offer it has been a great purchase and no regrets.

The coffee that come out all tastes the same even though the pods have different names. It does tastes no different than cafeteria coffee. It does not taste nice at all and we have an Italian in the family that knows coffee. It is quick so that is good but making it in a press is cheaper and the same results. The coffee we have actually decided after giving it to middle Eastern and Italian friends is not strong at all but burnt. It leaves a dreadful aftertaste and is similar to burnt toast. I have lived in Easter Europe, Italy and the Middle East and had strong coffee there and it is nothing like what this machine produces.

I loved my original Nespresso machine and it served me well for years. However, the only complaint I had was that you always had to judge the amount of hot water yourself.

With this machine the guesswork has been taken out of the equation, as it reads the barcode on each pod and provides the exact amount of water necessary. I also love the new range of flavours, particularly the barista creations. These has been a great substitute for my local coffee shops during these lockdown, particularly when used in conjunction with the milk frother I purchased separately. The colour-coding makes finding a particular favourite quick and easy, plus I think it is very well priced for the coffee experience it provides.

The machine also looks great; it is sleek, modern and I love the fact that they have made the water tank position adjustable so it can fit in any area you choose. The mechanical mechanism in the lid adds a further premium feel to the machine. Best of all, it seems to have the same robust build quality of previous Nespresso machines that I've owned.

An added benefit is the fantastic pod recycling scheme that Nespresso offer, which ensures I'm not negatively impacting the environment with my coffee consumption. Guilt-free coffee!

When turning it on I love how smoothly the automatic opening is, and was also impressed that the machine doesn't make more noise during use. The coffee pods are easy to just throw in and wait for it to make the drink. It's clearly some sort of sorcery how the machine automatically knows how much liquid to give you for each type of pod! I had assumed there would be some complicated button sequence to learn. Nope! You just throw the pod in and press the button, it works it all out for you. The coffee tastes very strong and good quality.

I decided to treat myself to a coffee machine for my birthday and I’m glad I did. I have to say I’m not a coffee maniac but I enjoy nice cuppa of coffee every now & then, coffee made in the Nespresso mashing is the best I have ever tried it’s so rich and smooth. It takes around 1 minute to make and it smells so good while it’s preparing. Not only does it make good coffee it also look stunning in my kitchen. My neighbour came around and she saw my Nespresso coffee machine and complemented it on How good it looks in my kitchen. So it’s a win win. The only downside I never seen capsules in supermarket only online.

I’m so pleased with this machine, I’ve tried several coffee machines from other manufacturers and they were always a little disappointing. It came in a box that was easy to open without tearing the box or having to balance it in some weird way whilst trying to not damage the machine. Such a lovely red colour and it came with a lovely sample of several pods to get you started. There is such a range of coffees available from mild to very strong, some too strong for me. But this was such a good thing about the sample pods that came with it, you can find your ideal coffee strength number! Such an easy machine to operate plug it in run through the start up process then you’re good to go! Pop a pod in press the button and wait a few minutes for a lovely hot cup of coffee, smells lovely and tastes lovely and looks lovely in my kitchen what more can you ask for! Looking forward to buying some more pods and enjoying more lovely coffee. They even do a range of decaffeinated coffees Fantastic for when you want the flavour but not the caffeine

Absolutely love this machine. I make latte every morning with it for myself and hubby. It tastes better than any latte i have had anywhere! Strong, smooth coffee, Diavolito, Altissio, Scuro and Chiaro are the best for making latte. It is so easy to use, just press the button and it does the rest! There really is not much to say anymore or do in fact, it is just so so simple and straightforward! Only downside is the price of capsules as you are tied to buying them from Nespresso directly, definitely not cheap. But than again, the quality and taste is so good that i cannot see myself from letting the cost stand in the way of my delicious lattes! Love it, the red colour is great as well.

Stylish looking machine, fits right in our kitchen and has already attracted complimentary comments just based on how it looks! But, the main point is that it produces fantastic coffee, perfect creme and consistency. The machine comes with 12 different capsule flavours, and across 5 different serving sizes, to see which you prefer. That's one of the benefits of choosing the vertuo range as opposed to the original range - you get a greater variety of coffee serving sizes available, something which the original Nespresso style pods were maybe missing. There's a large number of different strengths of coffee to choose from on the Nespresso site, I've yet to discover one I dislike! There's also currently a great welcome offer on at the time of writing this review - I won't be short on capsules for the foreseeable time. The only point to note is that 'aftermarket' capsules are not available for the Nespresso Vertuo machines in supermarkets etc, I believe due to patents, so if you're someone who likes to pick up other brand capsules in supermarkets, this is something to bear in mind.

I was excited to try the Vertuo plus and I have not been disappointed. From the initial unboxing, I have been very impressed, the machine itself feels very solid and well made, and the set-up was simple and the instructions easy to follow. The water tank is easily accessible and removable; I particularly like the fact that it can be moved from the back of the machine to either side, which enables you to adjust the depth of the machine to fit in different areas. It has a decent sized used capsule container which is very accessible for emptying. Loading a capsule is simple with just one touch as is the actual operation of brewing a coffee with the touch button operation. My machine came with a box containing a selection of pods which allowed me to try some of the different coffees and cup sizes available, it was interesting to sample some coffees that I might not otherwise have had the opportunity to try and allowed me to fully appreciate the full functionality of Vertuo Plus. I like the fact that this machine determines exactly the right volume of water required for the chosen pod, it really takes the pressure off guessing, which results in an excellent cup of coffee every time. I absolutely love my Vertuo Plus machine and have no negative views about it, I am really enjoying my daily coffees now more than ever, particularly the double expresso and barista blends. I am looking forward to ordering different selections of pods to try the whole range.

My first impression of this product was that it was nicely packaged and felt like a good quality product. It was very easy to unpack and set up. The initial cleaning cycle was quick and the machine was ready to use immediately. The machine has a one touch function so it is very quick and easy to use. The pods have a barcode so the machine automatically recognises the pod and adjusts the water volume/temperature/brewing time etc for that specific drink. Spent pods are collected in the waste receptacle so this makes it easy to collect a batch and discard when full. Prior to using this machine, I’ve been using an automatic bean to cup machine. Obviously there is no substitute for coffee made from freshly ground beans but this cost more than ten times the price of the Nespresso. For the price, I think the Nespresso is good value for money, and great for convenience as you don’t have the job of clearing out coffee grounds or buying/storing fresh beans. There is a good variety of coffee pods available for the Nespresso and it is easy to order directly from them. These are not the cheapest pods, and it does not seem like there are any alternative pods this can be used unlike the older Nespresso machines which do not use barcode pods. I have come across a refillable metal pod which could be used with pre-ground coffee but have not actually tried this. I do think there is a good variety of pods but I wish the retailer provided more details about each one. I find the variety a little overwhelming -because the product was supplied with some free pods, this is not too bad but if I was buying them, I would not know where to start. When I buy beans, I know what I am looking for and what taste I want. I don’t really know with these and I think you just need to try them out to see which you like but as you have to buy the pods in a minimum quantity size, I would imagine this might put people off. Overall, this is a decent machine. Good quality and good value for money. One thing I dislike about the design was the removable cup stand. I would have preferred this to be attached with auto raise so that it can be adjusted to any height and not the set heights it has. An integrated milk frother would have also been useful but I suppose at this price point it would not be included.

Wonderful little coffee machine. I'm really impressed with the coffees it makes. Love having a different option of sizes and strength of the coffees. Crema is better than some professional espresso machines make (I've used my fair share as barista). I like the ease of use and cleaning so I don't have to slave away at home and my partner can make a great coffee with press of one button without my help :) Absolutely love the smell of coffee that fills my kitchen when it starts doing its magic. So pleased with the purchase. I've planned to get one on so many occasions but always thought of the reason why I don't need it. Now I can't imagine my life without it. The only downside is that there are no alternative coffee pods available at the moment like there are for previous versions of Nespresso. I'm sure that will change over time so it isn't a major issue. Otherwise I'm incredibly pleased with it and use it several times a day.

I've had the Nespresso Magimix Vertuo Plus (In Cherry Red) a month now and it's a very good product. It's stylish and fairly intuitive to work. I'm still trying to decide which of the blends I like the most but it is the most like true barista coffee I've ever had at home. The red colour is stylish and the fact the reservoir moves means it fits in a corner very snugly. Issues that I've found - knocked the water reservoir off twice as it is easily removable, find it difficult to find the capsules, they aren't stocked in supermarkets like the original Nespresso so it's online or a trip to the city and the Nespresso shop and I'm a bit worried about the waste. I have got the recycling bag but that is still a lot of energy to recycle the capsules, so I tried a reusable system. You can certainly tell the difference from the capsules; you get more of an americano style brew when you pack the reusable one with ground coffee so I can now see the value of using the Nespresso Capsules and really would recommend them. I have decided I like the mug sized ones, a proper long cup of coffee which makes it a different product to the ones just dispensing an expresso shot, definitely growing on me! Also find that warming the milk in the microwave makes the mug so much nicer too!

I was really excited about trying out my new machine, I have had a few different at home barista machines but still trying to find that one that matches to shop bought coffee.

Things I love about Vertuo Plus by Magimix:
    - Sleek design (it looks really good in the kitchen and fits in well with other appliances)
    - Water tank can be moved, I prefer it at the side for ease.
    - The pods come in various sizes, this is a major love for me as I've always found other pods too small and end up using 2 or topping up with water
    - It's very quiet
    - it always makes a lovely looking coffee with a beautiful crema
    - Easy to clean
    - Very easy to use

Things I'm not a big fan of:
    - there is limited decaf choices (none of limited edition coffees come in decaf) and I only drink decaf as I'm pregnant
    - There is no hot chocolate pods (this isn't major but it would be nice)
    - There are no pod accessory holders for the pods so can take up space due to size

Whilst the taste is still not shop bought quality, it is still very nice for a pod coffee for the convenience of at home coffee. Plus, I received a welcome gift of a wide selection of free pods which I felt was a really nice touch by Nespresso.

We’ve had this coffee machine for a few weeks already and honestly, they are a HUGE improvement compared to the first Nespresso machines or any other coffee pods brands out there. It makes such a good quality coffee that my DeLonghi traditional machine has become obsolete in my kitchen. You won’t even need to buy the milk frother with this one because the coffee already comes out with a lovely thick cream. Definitely worth every penny!

After owning this machine about a month I must say I am incredibly impressed. My previous experience with pod machines in hotels etc has left me a little disappointed but this machine and the new virtuo style pods I think have changed the game. This machine feels more sophisticated whilst still being very simple to use, things such as the electrically opening and closing pod compartment as oppose to the huge lever that old machines have and the way the machine reads the barcode on the pod to ensure it makes the coffee perfectly and to the right size for the pod used. The crema on top of the coffee is great and the way the water tank can be placed at either side or the back depending on the kitchen layout is very handy. The coffee is made at just the right temperature for drinking, a little too cool for my liking but I have got around this by warming the cup under the hot tap first as recommended in the user manual. As somebody who is concerned about the planet I was always concerned about the environmental impact of pods but I am glad to see that they have moved away from the part plastic part aluminium pod to full aluminium to make recycling much easier and Nespresso provide a bag to send back the old pods for recycling which is encouraging. I have never come across a way of making such good coffee at home with such little hassle and mess, and at an average of 50p per pod it is much better value than a coffee shop. I am very happy to recommend this machine and the Nespresso virtuo system.

i have had a few coffee machines in the past and there was always something not quite right with them so I was a bit sceptical about this brand but thought why not give it a go. It arrived really fast and I didn't wait to get stuck in. The instructions were a bit confusing as it was mostly pictures with random words but I worked it out. In the box there was a sample of different sizes and strengths of coffee so we got stuck in right away. It was so easy to use and the pod releases into the little bin in the back when you open it up so it keeps it all together for you to empty into the the recycling bag that is provided. When you register the machine you get sent a box with a huge selection of capsules in all different strengths and sizes. The different sizes makes a big difference because you can create so many different drinks just like the coffee shop without the price tag. So far I have not found any issues with the machine and have recommended it to so many people.

This is my first Nespresso machine but I have experience of using other pod based machine in the past. I have to say this is far superior to any pod based machine I have previously used. It's a very simple machine, simply fill the water container up, insert a pod and press a button. Steaming coffee will drip down into your cup. Where I am impressed is the pods, the quality and range of coffee is amazing. I was slightly concerned about the aluminium pods and them not being easy to recycle but thankfully Nespresso provide a free service for this. Overall I am very very pleased with this machine. It is not however something I would use several times a day for myself as the pods can be on the expensive side... But saying that it is still cheaper and of superior quality to my local coffee shop.

    Great Coffee Machine!
I've wanted a Nespresso Coffee Machine for such a long time and I couldn't be happier with the Vertuo Plus. It looks fantastic in red, I love the look of it. I did have to google how to operate it on arrival as the instructions provided weren't the best. The Nespresso website helped and it was really easy to set up. The coffee takes seconds to prepare and is delicious, so easy to make when in a rush to get to work. I'm looking forward to trying more of the coffee Nespresso has to offer.

Having had previous coffee machines I can safely say that this machine is a cut above the rest. It has sleek and modern feel with excellent features. The vertuo machine creates multiple sized coffees giving you a bigger variety of choice. The coffee that it makes are full of flavour and have that 'real' coffee feeling. Nespresso also have an excellent recycling scheme. Something that is so important when it comes to saving the planet! Overall the machine has worked flawlessly and fits in to our kitchen beautifully. The machine itself is reasonably priced with the capsules providing you with the best value for money. I highly recommend this machine and have been raving about it to all my friends and family and fellow coffee lovers!

I am still getting to grips with the many different flavours of pods available, some have proved too strong for me so far but some are so delicious and rival those I pay for in the coffee shop, I adore the Hazelino Muffin the most so far. The machine is very smart, it never overspills the cup and I can leave the machine too it while it works its magic. I have to say I am impressed. I do drink milk with my coffee so perhaps I should have gone with a different type of machine that offers milk too, each time I am adding a dash of bottled milk, but slowly I am weening off it to become a 'proper' coffee drinker. I give 4 stars as the machine is rather loud and vibrates a fair amount, so its not quite perfect.

This is a wonderful coffee machine. Coming from the old nespresso machines this makes a much easier coffee experience. Nice touch is the machine opens and closes easily on a simple touch up or down on the machine. The water tank is a pretty large so doing a few coffees is a doddle. There’s an adjustable slot to conform to many different mug sizes. Using the actual machine is really easy to do as there’s a barcode on the pod where the machine knows exactly how much coffee to put in to the mug. This gives you consistently tasty coffee which is easy an convenient. The clean up is simple it’s just empty the water tank and take out the used coffee pods once full. I just love the consistency which each coffee which is so easy to do!

Such an amazing piece of technology for a coffee lover. I have the Nespresso Vertuo Magimix in Red and it works like a dream. It’s simple to use- you put the pods in press the start button and you get the most amazing tasting coffee. The coffee is simply delicious and what’s even better is that the machine can make coffees for different cup and mug sizes, which is perfect for me as I like to have espressos but also mugs full of coffee. The machine has a super sleek, modern design and fits into a kitchen with limited space very well. It’s perfect for anyone who has a smaller kitchen but wants a very good coffee machine. I have tried many, many brands of coffee machines before and this has by far been the best. It gives you the most perfect cup of coffee every time you use it and has a faultless system which makes it easy for you to make a brew whenever you need one!

The new Nespresso machine comes in a sleek, red design. It looks stylish and elegant and fits into the kitchen environment or study set-up. In terms of functionality, it is straightforward to make the coffee. However, the function for cleaning the machine requires the manual and it is not so simple to follow but eventually it works. I like how the used capsules are automatically collected into the in-built container, saving time and hassle of handling it after each use. Another advantage is the wide variety of coffee flavours and styles and the machine automatically detects the amount of water for each capsule.

I was so excited to try my new Nespresso Magimix Vertuo Plus that I opened the box as soon as the delivery arrived! I was pleased to find that came with a variety of free capsules to try out some of the Nespresso range. The setup was easy and I had it all done and ready to use within 10 minutes. One of the best features of this machine (and my favourite) is the fact that the pods are programmed to know the cup size and the exact amount of water needed. No need to do anything except to place your pod and just sit back. I have found it very easy to insert pods and fill the water tank and I am very pleased. I love waking up to a cup of Nespresso every morning however the only flaw I have with the machine is that I cannot dispense hot water without a pod. I was quite disappointed to see that its not possible. However I am still a big fan of this machine and the quality of the machine and the coffee. I would definitely recommend!

I've been missing our regular hit of caffeine from the local coffee shop over these past months and so was excited to see if the Nespresso Vertuo could offer as good a cup of coffee at home. The machine comes with a wide selection of styles to try and I'm happy to report each one was as good as if prepared by a barista. The Vertuo is very simple to use, with a couple of button presses your pod is inserted and coffee being poured. The pods have a guide to how many ml of drink they produce so you know which size of cup to place on the tray. The pods are automatically placed into a bin on the back of the device and Nespresso supply a recycling bag so you aren't creating any unnecessary waste. The only complaint would be with the initial setup- the manual is a little sparse and for several different models so it took us a while to luck into working out how to prepare the machine for first use. Once this minor hurdle was out the way, though, it's been simple- one touch to power it on, another to open the pod tray, close it and then press again to brew the coffee. Overall the Vertuo has been a wonderful addition to our kitchen and I can't imagine starting the day without a cup of Nespresso coffee anymore.

We have tried many brands of coffee machines. As extreme coffee lovers in this household, especially during pandemic while working from home, it is difficult to get access to a good cup of coffee until we tried this beauty. It gives perfect coffee every time. The water container is of good size - we go through at least 4 cups every day and we find we only need to fill the water once a day. The lid opens up and closes automatically, it then reads the barcode on the pod to determine how much water is required to make a perfect cup of coffee. This generally only takes approximately 1min or so. Once finished, upon opening the lid, the empty pod slides to the black container at the back of the machine without having to manually remove it. Once the container is full, simply empty it into a recycling bag. I would definitely recommend this machine to anyone who is a coffee lover and can't live without a good cup of coffee! Our best buy this year!

I liked the look of the Nespresso Vertuo machine as soon as I opened it. Not too big and a cheerful shade of red to brighten up my kitchen. I was pleased to find it didn’t take up too much space either. The instruction booklet provided was clear and easy to understand so I was able to set up my machine ready for use. Choosing which capsule to try from those provided was the next dilemma but soon sorted out. Following the instructions I used the machine to make my first cup of Nespresso coffee. The result, delicious. Part of my breakfast routine is a mug of coffee and allowing enough time to enjoy it. My Nespresso Vertuo machine is making breakfast times even more enjoyable. I am looking forward to trying out all the different coffee capsules.

I absolutely love this machine, nice and stylish and easy to use. The quality of the coffee is divine and so many to choose from, my only problem is no hot chocolate varieties. The one touch mechanism to open the pod cavity is a brilliant idea and the automatic removal of the pod after is very clever. There is nothing complicated or fiddly about it so suitable for everyone. The quality of the coffees so far are amazing, with different strengths for different tastes. It’s like a very good filter coffee without the mess.

Wow. This machine is just brilliant. Its a pod machine which comes with a subscription service if you want to sign up for £25 a month with Nespresso. Which is a pick your own pods service. This service is great for the coffee lovers out there. You can't get these pods on the shelf yet as the machine is so new. We purchased the Red version as it matched our kitchen decor. My Husband and family have all tried a variety of our pods, they all loved the Caramel coffee pod. Its such a simple design that anyone can work out how to use it. You fill the water canister at the back, it swivels so you can have the water to the left or right depending on your kitchen layout. Choose your cup depending on the pod size, which are advertised on the pod and in the delivery packs. The strength varies from weak to super strong double expresso. Put your cup on the ledge at the front which can be adjusted for cup size up or down. The top opens with a simple push up of the auto lever. The pod is placed upwards and press the lever to auto lower the lid. Then just press the button on top and watch your cup fill up with a hot cup of magical joy. The machine will automatically spit the pod into a holder in the back of the machine. For the eco-conscious out there, the pods are recyclable with a scheme direct to Nespresso. They even give you a recycling bag especially for this service so they can be recycled properly and saved from landfill. I would recommend this to friends and family. My family have all enjoyed their visits to my house since we got the machine. The only thing i can recommend is that Nespresso offers hot chocolates for the kids.
