If you do not have too large a room, I have about 20 sqm, it is excellent enough! Can do well without subwoofer so far.
Run Ikea Sonos bookshelf speakers as surround bay works perfectly ok.
Good sound in terms of "cinema sound", it does not paint the widest sound stage compared to 3 front speakers but fully approved!
Haven't run trueplay calibration yet but sounds really good anyway I think, will return when I tried this. Rekommenderas!
Har du inte för stort rum, jag har ca 20 kvm så räcker den utmärkt! Klarar mig bra utan subbas än så länge.
Kör Ikea Sonos bokhyllehögtalare som surround viket fungerar helt ok.
Bra ljud vad gäller "bioljud", den målar inte upp den bredaste ljudscenen jämfört med 3 fronthögtalare men fullt godkänt!
Har inte kört trueplay-kalibrering ännu men låter riktigt bra ändå tycker jag, återkommer när jag provat detta. -
Perfect1 month agoI have to say that I am amazed at the sound it comes from such a small sauna bar. Those who want real surround should complement with more speakers or choose another system ....
It is stylish and fits well under a wall-mounted TV. Highly recommended Måste säga att jag är förvånad vilket ljud det kommer från en så liten sounbar. De som vill ha riktig surround skall komplettera med fler högtalare eller välja ett annat system....

Decent2 months agoUpdated: 2 months agoNice and easy to use, but was quite disappointed with the sound. At low volume, it sounds a bit jarring and stuffy. However, it gets better when you turn up the volume. The small format also means that there is no real width of the sound, but it may be asking for a little too much.
The worst thing about this soundbar, however, is that it only supports Dolby Digital format and neither DTS nor Dolby Atmos. How is this even possible in such a new product?
Just like other products from Sonos, everything is controlled from the app. One thing I discovered by chance is that certain settings are not made in the app itself but in the notification window that appears when playing something in the app. There you can access the setting to make the dialogue clearer and change to night mode.
What I am missing is some kind of indication that shows if Beamen is receiving Dolby Digital signal and not PCM. I also lack power to simulate rear speakers.
As several have already pointed out, Beamen has a certain delay. So the sound is a bit after the picture. From what I understand, the delay can be even worse if you connect two rear speakers to the Beamen.
In summary, you can say that you do not buy Sonos to get the best sound. There are many soundbars with better sound at a lower or the same price. You buy Sonos to easily stream your music to one or more devices.
Have not yet decided if I should keep or return to the store. Snygg och smidig att använda, men blev ganska besviken på ljudet. På låg volym låter det aningen burkigt och instängt. Blir dock bättre när man drar upp volymen. Den lilla formatet gör också att det inte blir någon riktig bredd på ljudet, men det kanske är att begära lite mycket.
Det sämsta med denna soundbar är dock att den bara stödjer Dolby Digital format och varken DTS eller Dolby Atmos. Hur är detta ens möjligt i en så pass ny produkt?
Precis som övriga produkter från Sonos så styrs allt från appen. En sak som jag upptäckte av en slump är att att vissa inställningar inte görs i själva appen utan i notifieringsfönstret som visas när man spelar något i appen. Där kan man komma åt inställning för att göra dialogen tydligare samt ändra till nattläge.
Det jag saknar är någon slags indikering som visar om Beamen tar emot Dolby Digital signal och inte PCM. Jag saknar även effekt för att simulera bakhögtalare.
Som flera redan har påpekat så har Beamen en viss fördröjning. Alltså ljudet ligger lite efter bilden. Vad jag har förstått så kan fördröjningen bli ännu värre om man kopplar två bakhögtalare till Beamen.
Sammanfattningsvis kan man säga att man köper inte Sonos för att få det bästa ljudet. Det finns många soundbars med bättre ljud till lägre eller samma pris. Sonos köper man för att smidigt kunna streama sin musik till en eller flera enheter.
Har ännu inte bestämt om jag ska behålla eller lämna tillbaka till butik. -
Decent3 months agoWorks as it should but mediocre sound quality, used with a Sub. It will probably be an Arc instead Funkar som den ska men medelmåttigt ljud kvalité, används tillsammans med en Sub. Det blir nog en Arc instället

Acceptable3 months agoRelatively small soundbar that is nice and well built. Unfortunately, the sound does not hold the same class at all and can at best be described as "acceptable".
Significantly more bass than existing TV sound, but I experience voices as equivalent or slightly worse, even with speech amplification turned on. Also experiences a small but noticeable lag of the audio versus image (HDMI-ARC).
The installation was painless and the Sonos app is good. However, I sometimes experienced some problems switching from TV audio to streaming Spotify from the phone. Sometimes the chosen song simply does not want to start and you have to fiddle a bit back and forth before it starts.
Unfortunately too many disadvantages for me to keep this so it will be returned to the store. Relativt liten soundbar som är snygg och välbyggd. Tyvärr håller inte ljudet alls samma klass och kan väl i bästa fall beskrivas som "acceptabelt".
Betydligt mer bas än befintligt TV-ljud men röster upplever jag som likvärdiga eller något sämre, även med talförstärkning påslaget. Upplever även en liten men noterbar eftersläpning av ljudet gentemot bild (HDMI-ARC).
Installationen var smärtfri och Sonos-appen är bra. Dock upplevde jag stundtals vissa problem att växla från TV-ljud till att streama Spotify från telefonen. Ibland vill vald låt helt enkelt inte gå igång och man får fippla lite fram och tillbaka innan det kommer igång.
Tyvärr för många nackdelar för att jag ska behålla denna så det blir retur till butik. -
Perfect3 months agoUpdated: 3 months agoHad hoped for a better sound in terms of price tag but it was a complement to the TV's speakers, not a sound system for home cinema. Incredibly stylish and stylish design. A must in modern homes! Hade hoppas på ett bättre ljud sett till prislappen men den var ett komplement til tv:ns högtalare, inte ett ljudsystem för hemmabio. Very good5 months agoI am very happy with my purchase, despite the criticism below, as it would be an appropriate compromise to replace a 5.1 system. I use it with a Sonos Sub, so my review is based on using them together.
Easy to install and easy to place, but I find it deplorable that it does not support DTS. Of course, it's not a problem if you only have it for TV sound, but it will be unnecessarily messy and worse sound if you are going to see a Blu-Ray that only has DTS.
It also works satisfactorily for music. Jag är mycket nöjd med mitt köp,trots kritiken nedan, då det skulle vara en passande kompromiss för att ersätta ett 5.1-system. Jag använder den tillsammans med en Sonos Sub, så min recension baseras på att jag använder dem tillsammans.
Lätt att installera och lätt att placera, men jag tycker att det är bedrövligt att den inte har stöd för DTS. Det är förstås inget problem om man bara har den till TV-ljud, men det blir onödigt meckigt och sämre ljud om man ska se en Blu-Ray som enbart har DTS.
Även till musik fungerar den tillfredsställande. -
Very good7 months agoConnecting Sonos stuff is always a bit messy. Never as easy as with Google products for example. But once it is in place, the sound is good.
Also bought two Sonos One for surround sound but sold them after three months. Didn't think they made any real difference. Att koppla in Sonos-saker är alltid lite meckigt. Aldrig lika enkelt som med Googles produkter till exempel. Men när den väl sitter på plats så är ljudet bra.
Köpte även till två stycken Sonos One för surroundljud men sålde dom efter tre månader. Tyckte inte de gjorde någon egentlig skillnad. -
Very good9 months agoReally good but can't handle DTS so if you run many blu-ray movies it will only be in Stereo. With streaming services, most of it is Dolby digital 5.1 so it will be canon. Be sure to supplement with the Sonos One sl and you have the surround back section. If you know, you can also run the Sonos sub but then the price rises sharply. Perfect for the small homes. Riktigt bra men klarar dock inte DTS så om ni kör många blu-ray filmer så blir det bara i Stereo. Med Streamingtjänster så är det mesta Dolby digital 5.1 så då blir den kanon. Se till att komplettera med Sonos One sl så har ni surround bakre sektionen. Om man känner så kan man också köra Sonos sub men då skenar priset rejält. Perfekt för de små hemmen.

Very good10 months agoEasy to install and Hdmi-arc is very nice as it syncs with the TV and you can control the volume with the TV's remote.
Didn't really make Google voice control work satisfactorily in Swedish. It can jump a little at any time.
The sound is much fuller than the TV's, but maybe not as sharp for music as a standalone speaker, so you can get the same sound in a play one for half the cost. Enkel att installera och Hdmi-arc är väldigt nice då den synkar med tv:n och du kan styra volym med tv:ns fjärr.
Inte riktigt fått Google-röststyrningen att fungera tillfredställande på svenska. Den kan hoppa igång lite när som helst.
Ljudet är betydligt fylligare än tv:ns men kanske inte så vass till musik som standalone högtalare, då kan man få samma ljud i en play one för halva kostnaden. -
Perfect1 year agoUpdated: 1 year agoThe only thing I regret about these is that I didn't buy them sooner! Quality in everything, right through. Super easy to install and get started, as someone wrote below, you have to make some settings (easy with the app) plus to set the right sound out of the TV to get full sound quality. Living in apartment and there it is more than good without external base box, crazy satisfied! Det enda jag ångrar med dessa är att jag inte köpte dem tidigare! Kvalité i allt, rakt igenom. Superenkelt att instalera och komma igång, som någon skrev här nedan måste man göra vissa inställningar (enkelt med appen) plus att att ställa in rätt ljud ut från TV'n för att få ut full ljudkvalité. Bor i lägenhet och där räcker den till mer än väl utan extern baslåda, galet nöjd!

Terrible1 year agoDon't buy Sonos. They have found that five years of support for the products is sufficient, then you have to throw and buy new as they freeze your entire system if you do not.

Very good1 year agoUpdated: 1 year agoIt was actually good after configuring it with the iphone and customizing the sound of the room. They beat a Naim Mu-So for over 3 times the price when they were here at the same time and played the same music. Den var faktisk bra etter å ha konfigurert den med iphone og tilpasset lyden til rommet. Slo jammen en Naim Mu-So til over 3 ganger prisen da de sto her samtidig og spilte samme musikk.

Decent1 year agoUpdated: 1 year agoTested Sonos Beam connected to my newly purchased LG C9 55 TV.
I experienced the sound more full from TV's own speakers than from Sonos Beamen (eg voices sounded better) so there was a return of this product end.
This after running TruePlay calibration and enabled NightMode / VoiceClarity.
Mostly watched comhem digital TV in stereo via ARC at the time of testing, as I only had a simple CI module to plug into the TV (not box).
Netflix multichannel audio may have been a bit better, but for stereo TV sound, I didn't think it would make it. Testade Sonos Beam kopplad till min nyinköpta LG C9 55 TV.
Jag upplevde ljudet mer fylligt från TVns egna högtalare än från Sonos Beamen (tex röster lät bättre) så det blev en retur av denna produkt tillslut.
Detta efter att ha kört TruePlay kalibrering samt aktiverat NightMode/VoiceClarity.
Såg mest på comhem digital TV i stereo via ARC vid testtillfället, då jag bara hade en enkel CI modul att stoppa in i TVn (ej box).
Netflix multichannel ljud var kanske lite bättre, men för TV-ljud i stereo tyckte jag iallafall inte den nådde fram. -
Perfect1 year agoUpdated: 1 year agoAddition: As previous users have already written, check that Sonos Beam receives Dolby Digital 5.1 and not Stereo. It is controlled from the sound source and in my opinion is absolutely crucial to the sound experience. You see the current sound quality in the Sonosapp (see review below for more info)
My review: As always with Sonos, the first thing you notice is the incredible quality feeling. It is heavy and installation is super simple. There is nothing to complain about in terms of sound and function. However, one should be aware that the base may not suffice if you have a larger room and are picky, but then you can supplement with a Sub afterwards (which I did). Will definitely be two Sonos One to get a full surround! Tillägg: Som tidigare användare redan skrivit, kolla att Sonos Beam tar emot Dolby Digital 5.1 och inte Stereo. Det styrs från ljudkällan och är enligt mig helt avgörande för ljudupplevelsen. Man ser aktuell ljudkvalité i Sonosappen (se recension nedan för mer info)
Min recension: Som alltid med Sonos, så är det första man lägger märke till den otroliga kvalitetskänslan. Den är tung och installationen är superenkel. Ljud- och funktionsmässigt finns det inget att klaga på. Man bör dock vara medveten om att basen kanske inte räcker om man har ett större rum och är kräsen, men då kan man komplettera med en Sub i efterhand (vilket jag gjorde). Kommer definitivt att bli två Sonos One för att få en fullständig surround! -
Very good1 year agoThe first impression was like this, you had to raise the volume considerably to hear the silent talk, then find a bit illogical in the room view of the app that you can activate speech amplification, it should always be on for but does not make sense ... Has done trueplay calibration but without speech reinforcement, the talk becomes tremendously unclear. Also checked so the TV sends 5.1 decoded sound.
That people 2019-2020 complain about the lack of optical input is a riddle hdmi arc is the only sensible today, hdmi cec works clockwise with our philips tv.
The sound then, it sounds ok neither better nor worse than expected, I drove three days but then realized that I need to buy a sub to be satisfied, and what a difference it was. Also added two one as rear speakers and is now really happy with the sound. Also think the music sounds better with speech enhancement enabled. Which cannot be enabled for music when running via airplay 2 or music via the sonos app.
When you drive via airplay 2 or sonos own app you get music sound in all channels but if you run spotify via the tv the beam thinks it is 2 channel sound so you only get through the front, you should set in the spotify app that it should send out 5.1 audio and music in all channels.
When running airplay to the beam and then want to switch back to TV audio, the only option is to restart the TV for it to jump back to hdmi.
I would have liked to have seen sonos release a new soundbar, kind of larger beam with hdmi which the other outdated sonos playbars do not have then I might have upgraded to get a little more impressive sound than the beam can deliver ... Första intrycket var sådär, man fick höjja upp volymen rejält för att höra det dova pratet, hitta sedan lite ologiskt i rumsvyn i appen att man kan aktivera talförstärkning, den borde alltid vara på för utan låter det inte vettigt...Har gjort trueplay kalibrering men utan talförstärkning blir pratet enormt otydligt. Har även kontrollerat så tvn skickar 5.1 avkodat ljud.
Att folk 2019-2020 klagar på avsaknade av optisk ingång är en gåta hdmi arc är ju det enda vettiga idag, Hdmi cec fungerar klockrent med vår philips tv.
Ljudet då, den låter helt ok varken bättre eller sämre än förväntat, jag körde tre dagar men insåg sedan att jag behöver köpa en sub för att bli nöjd, och vilken skillnad det blev. La även till två one som bakhögtalare och är nu riktigt nöjd med ljudet. Tycker även musiken låter bättre med talförstärkning aktiverat. Vilket inte går att aktivera för musik när man kör via airplay 2 eller musik via sonos appen.
När man kör via airplay 2 eller sonos egen app får man musikljud i alla kanaler men om man kör spotify via tvn tror ju beamen att det är 2kanaligt ljud så man får bara via fronten, borde gå att ställa in i spotify appen att den skall skicka ut 5.1 ljud och musik i alla kanaler.
När man kört airplay till beamen och sedan vill växla tillbaks till tv ljud är enda alternativet att starta om tvn för att den skall hoppa tillbaka till hdmi.
Jag hade gärna sett att sonos släpper en ny soundbar, typ större beam med hdmi vilket de andra föråldrade sonos playbars inte har då hade jag eventuellt uppgraderat för att få lite mer imponerande ljud än vad beam klarar av att leverera... -
Very Poor1 year agoThey are compatible with Google Assistant, but not Chromecast. So my multiroom groups that consist of Harman Kardon and Googke speakers are not compatible with Sonos ... Feels like Sonos worked hard for stt only their own multiroom should be supported .... De är kompatibla med Google Assistent, men inte Chromecast. Så mina multiroom grupper som består av Harman Kardon och Googke högtalare är inte kompatibla med Sonos... Känns som att Sonos jobbat hårt för stt bara deras egna multiroom skall stödjas....

Very good1 year agoI have now owned my Sonos Beam since April and have very little to complain about really. As some have pointed out in previous reviews, it is advantageous to ensure that your settings are optimized for the sound you want your Beam to play.
I have done both calibration with the iPad and set the correct sound source and the sound is fantastic. The sound picture is wide and given how small the Beam is, it produces really nice sound. The bass reproduction is slightly limited, but I still have that understanding of the lack of external subwoofer.
Sonos has a really good app, which can be used for all types of audio sources.
The negative things that pull down the grade slightly are:
- No bluetooth
- No optical input
- Evening little bass reproduction
- Animals Jag har nu ägt min Sonos Beam sedan i april och har väldigt lite att klaga på egentligen. Som några poängterat i tidigare recensioner, så är det med fördel du bör se till att dina inställningar är optimerade för ljudet du vill att din Beam ska spela.
Jag har gjort både kalibrering med iPad och ställt in rätt ljudkälla och ljudet är fantastiskt bra. Ljudbilden är bred och sett till hur liten Beamen är, så producerar den riktigt fint ljud. Basåtergivningen är aningen begränsad, men det har jag ändå förståelse för i och med avsaknad extern subwoofer.
Sonos har en riktigt bra app, som med fördel kan användas för alla typer av ljudkällor.
De negativa sakerna som drar ner betyget en aning är:
- Ingen bluetooth
- Ingen optisk ingång
- Aningen klen basåtergiving
- Dyr -

Excellent1 year agoVery pleased with the purchase. Works fine with my TV that doesn't have ARC and Apple TV. Only thing I can "complain about" is the delay at the first start. Takes up to 30 seconds, but is very easy not to think about if you don't have too much time to start something to look at. The soundboard provides excellent sound and the layout of the Apple iPhone provides better sound for the room in which the plank is in. Highly recommended. Veldig fornøyd med kjøpet. Fungerer fint med TVen min som ikke har ARC og Apple TV. Eneste jeg kan "klage" på er delayet ved førstegangsoppstarten. Tar inntil 30 sekunder, men er veldig lett å ikke tenke på hvis man ikke har alt for dårlig tid med å starte noe å se på. Lydplanken gir veldig god lyd og oppsettet med Apple iPhone gir bedre lyd tilpasset rommet planken står i. Anbefales sterkt.

Very good1 year agoDo you feel a bit half-satisfied with your Sonos Beam? That it sounded better in the store? That you expected more from the sound? Then I have some tips for getting at least 50% better sound.
1) Make sure your beam receives Dolby Digital. This will significantly improve the sound, weight, volume, everything. Enter your Sonos app -> settings -> about my sonos system. At the bottom you will see what it receives for the signal. If it is "stereo" and not "dolby 5.1" then you need to review the settings in either your TV, TV box or computer. In my case, I could change the TV box that the sound quality would be dolby digital. For my PC, I had to try the audio configuration using drivers.
2) Calibrate your Sonos Beam with Trueplay. Because I have an Android handset I never got the information that this feature exists (which is only for Apple products like Iphone, Ipad etc.). Then you have an Iphone, do the calibration according to the app, if not then borrow a friend iphone or the like, install the sonos app, and calibrate the sound in the room.
3) In the Sonos app go into settings -> room settings -> beam -> EQ. There you can adjust the base and treble. I recommend ~ + 20% more bass and cancer + 5% more treble.
These settings took my Sonos Beam from "oh well, I had hoped for a little better sound for + 4000kr" to, "j ... what good it sounds to be a little soundbar".
Hope the tips help someone out there in reality :) Känner du dig lite halvnöjd med din Sonos Beam? Att den lät bättre i butiken? Att du hade förväntat dig mer av ljudet? Då har jag lite tips för att få ut minst 50% bättre ljud.
1) Se till att din beam tar emot Dolby Digital. Detta kommer att bidra markant förbättring i ljudet, tyngden, volymen, allt. Gå in i din Sonos app -> inställningar -> om mitt sonos system. Längst ner kommer du se vad den tar emot för signal. Om det är "stereo" och inte "dolby 5.1" så behöver du se över inställningarna i antingen din TV, TV-box eller dator. I mitt fall så kunde jag ändra i tv-boxen att ljudkvaliteten skulle vara dolby digital. För min PC var jag tvungen att trixa med ljudkonfigurationen med hjälp av drivrutiner.
2) Kalibrera din Sonos Beam med Trueplay. Eftersom att jag har en Android lur så fick jag aldrig info om att denna funktion existerar (vilket bara är för Apple produkter som Iphone, Ipad mm). Så har du en Iphone, gör kalibreringen enligt appen, om inte så låna en kompis iphone eller liknande, installera sonos appen, och kalibrera ljudet i rummet.
3) I Sonos appen gå in i inställningar -> rumsinställningar -> beam -> EQ. Där kan du justera basen och diskanten. Jag rekommenderar ~+20% mer bas och kankse +5% mer diskant.
Dessa inställningar tog min Sonos Beam från "jaha, jag hade hoppats på lite bättre ljud för +4000kr" till, "j... vad bra det låter för att vara en liten soundbar".
Hoppas att tipsen hjälper någon där ute i verkligheten :) -
Very good1 year agoAgree that the sound is good, but not super. In my opinion, it does not give the same stereo feeling as a longer soundbar. Gets very good with a sonos sub. Nice that this connected to the TV makes it possible to get the TV sound on any sonos speaker in the house, eg in the kitchen. As painless as ever with Sonos to hook up. Håller med om att ljudet är bra, men inte superbt. Ger i mitt tycke inte heller samma stereokänsla som en längre soundbar. Blir väldigt bra med en sonos sub. Trevligt att denna inkopplad till TV möjliggör att få tv-ljudet på valfri sonos-högtalare i huset, ex i köket. Lika smärtfritt som alltid med Sonos att koppla in.

Good1 year agoIn terms of sound, it is not worth the money, but this is partly offset by the appearance, quality and manageability. Especially if you have additional products from Sonos. Rent ljud-mässigt är den inte värd pengarna men detta uppvägs till viss del av utseende, kvalitet och hanterbarhet. Framförallt om man har ytterligare produkter från Sonos.

Perfect1 year agoWow! Went from BOSE after they never delivered with AirPlay 2 (or Apple Music for that matter either). Absolutely incredible sound, for that size and the price (yes, there are absolutely "better" sounds out there, for the one who loves HiFi, but taking into account the size, the price and even the features I know nothing that hits Sonos).
Works perfectly as a multifunctional speaker for the living room (medium sized). It detects when new sound comes from another source, so I never need to change (click any button) to receive audio between the TV or mobile. If I play music on it and do something on the TV, it will change itself, so streamline as it can be.
The undercarriage would have liked to be white too, now it is like a black line on the otherwise white wall (with cables in the wall). A minimal price to pay for another 100% product. Multiroom works without problems. Wow! Gick från BOSE efter att de aldrig levererade med AirPlay 2 (eller Apple Music för den delen heller). Helt otroligt ljud, för den storleken och det priset (ja, det finns absolut "bättre" ljud där ute, för den som älskar HiFi, men tar man hänsyn till storleken, priset och även funktionerna så vet jag inget som slår Sonos).
Fungerar perfekt som en multifunktionell högtalare till vardagsrummet (medelstort). Den märker av när det kommer nytt ljud från en annan källa, så jag behöver aldrig ställa om (klicka på någon knapp) för att ta emot ljud mellan TV eller mobilen. Spelar jag musik på den och gör något på TVn ställer den om av sig själv, så streamline som det kan bli.
Underredet hade gärna fått vara vitt också, nu är det som ett svart streck på den i övrigt vita väggen (med kablar i väggen). Ett minimalt pris att betala för en annars 100% produkt. Multiroom fungerar utan problem. -
Excellent1 year agoNot the strongest soundboard you can buy, but much better than the TV sound and it is compact enough to fit nicely under the TV. Simple setup and works very well as regular speaker as well. Ikke den sterkeste lydplanken man kan kjøpe, men absoultt mye bedre enn TV-lyden og den er kompakt nok til å plassere pent under TV'n. Enkelt oppsett og funker veldig bra som vanlig høyttaler også.

Missing that deep base, but that said! Should you have a bigger sound then I would aim for a real hi-fi setup, or add a sonos sub.
If you have started using Sonos then it is difficult to quit, the simplicity is fantastic. Riktigt bra ljud i små och mellanstora rum.
Fiffigt med "talförbättringsknappen". Funkar bra!

Saknar den där djupa basen, men som sagt! Ska man ha ett större ljud så skulle jag sikta in mig på ett riktigt hifi-setup, eller lägga till en sonos sub.
Har man startat att nyttja Sonos så är det svårt att sluta, enkelheten är fantastisk. -
Excellent2 years agoVery easy to install and get started. Incredible sound for the small size. Better base than I had expected because many reviews mention that you need a Sonos Sub to get to the base. We are about 3 meters from the TV in a normal living room in an apartment and the base is very well suited to our needs. Mycket lätt att installera och få igång. Otroligt ljud för den lilla storleken. Bättre bas än vad jag hade förväntat mig eftersom många recensioner nämner att man behöver en Sonos Sub för att få till basen. Vi sitter ca 3 meter från TVn i ett normalstort vardagsrum i en lägenhet och basen räcker alldeles utmärkt till för våra behov.

Stylish but it is chewed on the top so the dust collects there. Do you dust off then you are on all touch buttons. Even so, the fabric is perceived more gray than white when there is no daylight in the room.
The sound is good but not amazing. More bass in play 1 / one. Surface effect exists but can be experienced by sound sensors as phase errors in different modes.
Better sound than in my TV. But it became bitter to raise and lower the sound on the tv. Det finns både tis och ros på denna.
Snygg men den är skålad på översidan så dammet samlas där. Dammar man av då är man på alla touch-knappar. Även så uppfattas tyget på framsidan mer grått än vitt, när det inte är dagsljus i rummet.
Ljudet är bra men inte fantastiskt. Mer bas i play 1/one. Surroundeffekt finns men kan av ljudkännare upplevas som fasfel i olika lägen.
Bättre ljud än i min tv. Men det blev bökigt att höja och sänka ljudet på tvn. -
Excellent2 years agoVery impressed with the sound. As previously mentioned, the base is not the best but it can be expanded with sub, eg. However, my current condominium is not easy to have subwoofer, so that's how it works.
Lost the connection with TV (Samsung 2016 via arc) once in the first week, to see if there is something that happens often or if it was a one-off event. Väldigt imponerad över ljudet. Som tidigare personer nämnt är basen inte den bästa men det går att bygga ut framöver med sub t.ex. Dock är inte min nuvarande bostadsrätt läglig att ha subwoofer i så då funkar beamen alldeles kanon.
Tappat kontakten med TV (Samsung 2016 via arc) en gång under första veckan, ska se om det är något som händer ofta eller om det var en engångsföreteelse. -
Excellent2 years agoCrazy good sound for such a little gadget. Went from receiver, glove speaker and a center "down" to Beamen but I think I get a much cleaner sound now than before, especially at music and speech. The base is not directly the sales argument on this but it does a good job considering the size and if you want one can buy a big one next to it. After driving their Trueplay calibration, I get a more than well-approved surround sound like me.
Super easy installation, went from the world's cordless box behind the TV down to a few single cables, and even when my TV is a few years on my back, it works best thanks to ARC via HDMI.
Big plus with built-in Spotify Connect, playing music has never been so easy no matter what device you're playing. Galet bra ljud för en sådan liten prylar. Gick från receiver, glovhögtalare och en center "ner" till Beamen men tycker jag får ett mycket renare ljud nu än tidigare, speciellt vid musik och tal. Basen är väl inte direkt säljargumentet på denna men den gör ett bra jobb med tanke på storleken och om man vill kan man ju köpa till en stor vid sidan om. Efter man kört deras Trueplay-kalibrering får man ett mer än väl godkänt surroundljud enligt mig.
Superenkel installation, gick från världens sladdbo bakom TVn ner till några enstaka kablar och även då min TV är några år på nacken så fungerar det hur bra som helst tack vare ARC via HDMI.
Stort plus med inbyggt Spotify Connect, att spela musik har aldrig varit så enkelt oavsett från vilken enhet du spelar ifrån. -

Excellent2 years agoBought today Sonos beam + sub and is very pleased! This replaces an old Sony surround system. I started by just plugging in the beams and comparing this with my Sony system and I was already sold there. Thought that movies / series voices were much more apparent that music / background noise was at least as effective as my previous system, also thought that the bass base was sufficient to match my Sony system. Then connected the bass and oh! what punsh one can get with the base. The only thing I lack is just the surround effect from my previous system, but everything else is better with Sono's combo. The plan is to buy a pair of Sonos One to surround in the future!
For info, my room is about 3.5m from the wall where the TV is on the wall where the sofa stands. The width of the room is much larger since the living room and kitchen are open plan. Fills the room really well and music works great even when you are in the kitchen area and cook food. Recommend! Köpte idag Sonos beam+sub och är väldigt nöjd! Detta byter ut ett gammalt Sony surround system. Jag började med att bara koppla in beamen och jämförde detta med mitt Sony system och jag var redan där helt såld. Tyckte att röster i film/serie var mycket tydligare trotts att musik/bakgrundsljud var minst lika effektfulla som mitt tidigare system, tyckte också att basen från beamen var tillräcklig för att matcha mitt Sony system. Kopplade sedan in basen och oj! vilken punsh man kan få med basen. Det enda jag saknar lite är just surround effekten från mitt tidigare system men allt annat är bättre med Sonos kombon. Planen blir att köpa ett par Sonos One till surround i framtiden!
För info så är mitt rum ca 3,5m från vägg där tv:n är till vägg där soffan står. Bredden på rummet är mycket större då vardagsrum och kök är en öppen planlösning. Fyller ut rummet rejält och musik funkar toppen även om man står i köksdelen och lagar mat. Rekommenderar! -
Good2 years agoRun the sub and beam together. How good it sounds is enough about what you are used to. I had receiver with really good 5.1 system before. It sounded cannon. But the simplicity with Sonos nevertheless makes me prefer. It's good for music (but not if you're picky) and is great for movies. Running a time without sub and it was a step up from built-in TV sound but should you listen to music I think almost the sub is a must. Movies are also becoming much more popular. Kör sub och beam ihop. Hur bra det låter handlar nog mycket om vad man är van vid. Jag hade receiver med riktigt bra 5.1 system innan. Det lät kanon. Men enkelheten med Sonos gör ändå att jag föredrar det. Det duger för musik (men ej om du är kräsen) och är utmärkt för film. Körde en tid utan sub och det var ett steg upp från inbyggt tv ljud men ska du lyssna på musik tycker jag nästan suben är ett måste. Film blir också avsevärt pampigare.

Decent2 years agoSounds good for its size (it's really not big) but compared to the Sonos 5 (older model) I've made it a bit clumsy, more like a Play 1 actually. But it's pure music, for movies and tv it's a lot more tricks.
But what draws the most down is the fact that, like many online, I can not control the sound with IR remote from more than 1m distance, ie completely unusable. This is when you do not have TV with HDMI ARC and must use optical as this is a problem, think about it if you have an older TV. Contact Sonos support and see if there is a solution that does not involve the purchase of new TV. Låter bra för sin storlek (den är verkligen inte stor) men jämfört med den Sonos 5 (äldre modellen) jag har låter den lite klen, mer som en Play 1 faktiskt. Men det är ju vid ren musik, för film o tv kan den ju mkt mer tricks.
Men det som drar ner betyget mest är det faktum att jag liksom många på nätet inte kan styra ljudet med IR fjärr från mer än 1m avstånd, dvs helt oanvändbart. Det är när man inte har TV med HDMI ARC och måste använda optisk ut som detta är ett problem så tänk på det om du har en äldre TV. Ska kontakta Sonos support och se om det finns en lösning som inte innebär köp av ny TV. -
Perfect2 years agoHave purchased Beam, Sub and 2 one. Which island! Good balanced and feeling incredibly nice to surround is wireless :) Very satisfied. Har köpt Beam, Sub och 2 one. Vilket ös! Bra balanserat och känns otroligt skönt att surround är trådlöst :) Mycket nöjd.

Perfect2 years agoUpdated: 2 years agoPerfect speaker for a person who has a little smaller living space and does not necessarily want the heaviest base. This is my first product from Sonos and I'm taken amazed at the quality. The speaker is incredibly well-built and the sound is really clear and it plays surprisingly much bass. The bass sounds best and more balanced on volumes below 75%. It works equally well for music, television and movies. Even though you do not have small speakers, it does a good job with the sound at the front, the sound image is wide and if, for example, a car runs from right to left in the movie, you hear it too!
The Alexa function does not work yet with Swedish but in order to make it work, your sonos and Amazon account must be set in English and USA. Once you get started, Alexa works really well. I can now turn on and off the tv with the voice and change volume. You also change audio source with simplicity by telling her.
Finally, I can add that I was worried that the bass would not be enough from this little speaker. I was pleasantly surprised even though the base does not make the paintings shake. The idea is to upgrade with two sonos one and one sub in the future. So you want a small soundbar with big sound and Alexa then run on! You will not regret it. Perfekt högtalare för en person som har ett lite mindre vardagsrum och inte nödvändigtvis vill ha den tyngsta basen. Detta är min första produkt från Sonos och jag är tagen med häpnad över kvalitén. Högtalaren är otroligt välbyggd och ljudet är riktigt klart och den spelar förvånansvärt mycket bas. Basen låter som bäst och mer balanserat på volymer under 75%. Den fungerar lika bra för musik, tv och film. Även fast man inte har småhögtalare gör den ett bra jobb med ljudet framtill, ljudbilden är bred och om exempelvis en bil kör från höger till vänster i filmen hör du det också!
Alexafunktionen fungerar inte än med svenska utan för att få den att fungera måste ditt sonos och amazonkonto vara inställt på engelska och plats USA. När man väl fått igång Alexa fungerar det riktigt bra. Jag kan numera slå på och av tvn med rösten samt ändra volym. Du byter också ljudkälla med enkelhet genom att säga till henne.
Slutligen kan jag tillägga att jag var orolig att basen inte skulle vara nog från denna lilla högtalare. Jag blev positivt överraskad även fast basen inte får tavlorna att skaka. Tanken är att uppgradera med två sonos one och en sub i framtiden. Så vill du ha en liten soundbar med stort ljud och Alexa så kör på! Du kommer inte ångra dig. -

Clearly also approved for music. Enjoy listening to Spotify, the sink on the TV couch. Fantastiskt bra ljud i denna snygga högtalare. Stor fördel med att kunna koppla ihop Sonos med tv:n, nu har man möjlighet att välja flera högtalare. Superenkel installation. Klart godkänd även för musik. Njuter av att lyssna på Spotify, nedsjunken i tv-soffan .

Will be buying two Sonos Play: 1 for surround sound in a couple of weeks. Buy! Mycket ljud för pengarna helt klart.
