A card that should be one of the best in its category is in fact the worst due to design flaws. The screws that hold the radiator in place are too long and do not provide proper pressure, which leads to poor cooling. The card gets too hot and lowers its performance to protect itself.

Have now mounted some M3 spacers in nylon under the screws and immediately the temperature dropped about 15 degrees. The card is now completely stable with 2100 MHz and about 62-64 degrees at high load, fan about 30-40%.

The drivers have now been stable for a few months, the card is starting to feel like a good buy.

Bought this card at 50% off and could hardly have been happier with it.

Was ready to insert rubber rings around the screws for the heat sink, which fixes the problem of the early cards produced in 2019, but luckily I got the version where this is fixed, and the card stays in the 50-60 range during overwatch and WoW with high settings.
All I did was set a slightly more aggressive fan curve, as well as 1106 as the max volt.

Correction, it started to lose grip on the radiator after a day, the temperatures drop if you squeeze the card together, so the solution is simply to put some washers under the screws on the back of the back plate so that it tightens up.

Got it home, worked great, for about 40 min by GTAV before I got a BScreen caused by a decent amount of artifacts. And that after having to wait extra for post north to mess with the freight .. otherwise I got 90-110 fps in gta v and can't really complain, think that a whole card had dropped the first sentences of my review + one to star.

All cards produced after January 2020 have improved radiator solution.

The card performs worse than many other cards because poor attachment of the radiator.
ASUS tries to blame AMD even though it is their own fault.

Have had the card since early November. I had some trouble at the beginning of learning amds software but the card has performed above expectation.
Deduct half a star for tripping with the card which I never needed with nvidia. Of course, I knew that when I bought the card, but you get good performance when it comes to the price!
Fortunately, I haven't had any trouble with VRM overheating. Temp is around 77 degrees in load. Possibly it is possible to get a few degrees colder if you increase the fan profile but nice when it does not blow the hurricane when playing.
So a great recommendation for 5700xt. Then if asus still has trouble with VRM I would have bet on the sapphire or power dragon variants!

Asus's solution to the VRM cooling error is a BIOS that reduces consumption and loses boos (this does not solve the problem but only hides it).
They have, of course, not offered me to exchange anything.
The card thus overheats and causes throttling and lowering of frequencies = poor performance.
There are several better alternatives where you do not have substandard coolers such as Gigabyte's Windforce and Sapphire Nitro cards.

Many of these cards suffer from improperly installed VRAM cooling pads, resulting in poor cooling and high temperatures. If you buy this card, make sure that your card does not suffer from this defect. See forum thread incorrectly- mounted- cooler

In principle, completely silent. Switched me up from 980ti and everything flows really well. Played GTA V on the highest graphics and it used only 50% of the graphics card and gained over 144 fps on the unlocked 6700K. Pubg also worked at between 144 and 220 fps which was much better than before. Well, those are the 2 most demanding games I play.
Bought on promotion for SEK 4899 and must say it was worth it!
Can't find anything negative then nothing else can give it 5/5 as the price is much better than nvidia's 2070super!
