They are just amazing, from the first time I`ve took them out of the box. The first and most important thing they fit perfectly and they don`t fell from the ears , I was having issues with other wireless headphones. The battery life it`s good, normally I`m using them in 2h rounds( the road to work) and the case I`m charging it weekly and didn`t let me down. The noise cancelation system it`s perfect, effectively I can`t hear any noise when it`s activated. The Bluetooth connectivity it`s not straightforward, you need to install the proprietary app first and after that pair them with the phone, but after this they work flawlessly. This was a very small inconvenience compared with the full experience. The sound quality it`s above other well known brands and fit for the day to day user.

When I ordered the Jabra Elite 85t I was worried about the performance and quality that they would give compared to my high end over the ear headphones I use regularly while commuting. Right from the get go these have blown that worry away. They are great in all areas! Right out of the box they look and feel like a high end device. They are extremely easy to use, comfortable and have enough tech in them to keep even a avid tech enthusiast like myself happy. Set up was simple by using the smart phone app, although you do not need to use the app if you do not want to. They can be linked via your devices Bluetooth menu. Using the app was easy though and unlocked a whole load of added extras which makes these earbuds brilliant. The app first takes you through a series of set up tutorials including testing fitting, then it even gives you a hearing test which then allows for the best frequencies to be used to hear your music/calls better. The app also gives the ability to change the eq set up and the extra functions of noise cancellation and hear through. The noise cancellation is great for loud areas, it really works well by countering the outside noise with added sounds. There is another feature called hear through. I like this one especially while I am commuting as I can still hear the announcements on the train or cars going along the road for safety. Using them day to day is easy. Each earbud has different controls that you access by tapping them or via device. Another great feature is the wireless charging case. This is the first pair of ear buds I have tried and the added comfort knowing that they are always fully charged is great. Pull them out of the case and the turn on and pair. Then after pop them in and they turn off and charge back up. The case can be placed on a wireless charging pad or via the cable. The size of the case and buds is also great as I hardly notice the case in my pockets, unlike my large over ear headphones case that takes up a lot of room. Not only are these a good earbud for commuting they have been excellent for exercising as well. I usually use a pair that wrap around my ears to stay in. Was worried that these would fall out while running but they stayed in like a dream and where very comfortable. Overall a great pair of earbuds. I think they will easily replace the two separate devices I have been using up to this point. Pros Design Features Comfort Ease of use Size Mobile charging case Cons Maybe a little expensive for some

Wow - these are great I have been after a quality pair of earbuds.. Its a confused marlet and a lot of hype. I've tried the new Jabra Elite 85t earbuds and I can say they do everything they should do and do more ! They come in a neat case, which charges the buds and protects them what in use. What I also found that I paired the Bluetooth 5.0 with my 2 laptops and phones... now doing that pairing once across all devices.. a big plus I have used these outside while jogging and using the 3 different size of rubber cups made me then fit perfectly. You can use it as a powerbank and charge your phone too while on the move. Best of all - the sound quality is superior which is aided by the Active Noise Cancelling feature called fully adjustable Jabra Advanced Active Noise Cancellation™ (ANC) 6-microphone technology for amazing calls anywhere. Im using it with Siri® in my iphone and Google Assistant™ on my tablet

I have now fully tested the Elite 85t and overall, I would rate these a 7.5/10. The packaging is very sleek, and the setup guides are very simple to follow. I would advise setting them up on your phone first with the easy to use app. They will connect to other devices without the full setup but I feel that the auto adaption to you personally really helps improve the experience. For the first week my ear were in a little bit of discomfort over long periods of use but I have not been feeling anything for the last couple of weeks. I would advise not jumping to the conclusion on comfort because now I am well adapted. They do feel secure in my ears but there has been the odd occasion they have jumped out. I am avoiding running with them for this reason. The battery life is a little contentious for me as I feel I get about 3 hours of use before they start to run out but that will be impacted because I am connected to both my phone and laptop at all times. If you are on all day calls then I would not recommend these because they don’t last as long as I expected. Overall, I was impressed with the ANC functionality against my over ear high end branded headphones. I would say the cancellation scores highly for me in this area and was surprised based on some reviews I have seen. I also rate the experience of someone else on the other end of the video call. I always ask if they can hear the noise coming from the background and no one can. I would like to see an improvement in the distance before cut-off. I walk about 6 meters through a glass door and they end. I am probably expecting a little too much of the technology though. All in all, I am very pleased with the Elite 85t and would recommend it to some who is looking to now splash out more than other more expensive brands but wants quality.

I have used the Elite 85t extensively and unfortunately, I am a bit disappointed as I could not stop comparing them to the 75t and overall, I believe the latter are the winners.

The packaging is nice and very well thought after. The case and the buds feel robust but the size of the buds is larger and that takes a toll after not too long.

The ear-gels are definitely more comfortable vs the 75t but it does not save the overall comfort result. The larger earbud gave me a constant feeling they might drop off. The 75s felt way more secure.

The companion app remains good with easy pairing on both Android and iPhone. It has a personalised sound test so it does take into account individual hearing abilities.

The supported features are great. Different sound profiles are really useful.

The software experience was still better for iPhone. The volume level does not sync with the android phone I have.

There were weird battery level reports on the earbuds with showing the Left one stuck at 98% even after hours in the case. I contacted support which was decent – important for this kind of product - and they confirmed a software/firmware issue to be fixed.

Support for multi-link (many devices and inputs) is great but there is no easy way to pick the input device – not even from the app and many times I ended up turning off Bluetooth in order to make it do what I wanted.

ANC is better than the 75t which was really an add-on and not a built-in feature. Overall, the ANC is quite good and it scores very closely with my over-ear ones. Sometimes in a quiet environment you can hear some static/digital noise but in a working/noisy environment the result is very good.

“hear-through” is much improved and phone calls were clear, no issues about voice input.

Music reproduction was great but overall it felt that not too much was changing with the various pre-sets. The app allows to configure the output so you can customise it to your liking.

Bluetooth range is better vs the 75s but still lacking. Can’t explain it really as all other devices have much better range.

The battery life is very good and the advertised times are definitely met. With my usage they lasted for about three days before recharging and the ANC definitely takes some juice.

Customization is also great giving you the ability to use gestures and clicks to your preferred functions.

So after trying the 75t and finding them good but not great I wanted to find true wireless that would give ANC that were practical for the gym, and calls, but with a quality sound and the Jabra elite 85t seemed to be the perfect match. Like the 75t These are very small, as is the case, and therefore great to put in your pocket and take them with you. The earphones themselves are neat, and look great. They were easy to pair and I could connect to both my phone and tablet at the same time. The fit - with 3 sizes of tips to choose from I tried the medium, they felt a little loose but never fell out. The sound - well, after a little running in, and changing of the tip the quality is amazing. And good bass too which I love. The loose fit does let sound in and makes the ANC less effective . Other - the controls are easy, and offer great control of pausing/skipping tracks, voice control, changing volume etc. Basically everything you could want. They also have a range of white noise/soothing sounds which is a nice touch. I would imagine this would be good for a long trip where you want to close your eyes and relax! The sound quality for calls is ok, but there seems to be a “hum” during calls. Overall, these are great with loads of features, and a compact design. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for quality true wireless earphones!

As a music lover who prefers a more bassier sound with focus on high quality midrange with quality ANC I can’t really fault these.
    Initial Setup:
Really easy, connected my iPhone via Bluetooth. Was prompted to install the Jabra Sound+ App and do initial hearing profile setup called “My Sound”.
    Usage:
The earbuds are extremely comfortable, are light & fit snug in my ear canal. I was nervous they would fall out my ears but this wasn’t an issue, even when going for a run.
Listening to my favourite tunes I’m impressed with the sound quality. The Sound+ app lets you adjust the equaliser easily and I am very happy with the quality and sound profile. Rich mids and quality bass! The ANC is very impressive and has 5 levels/stages you can choose from, the maximum level 5 is so intense it can sometimes almost be disorientating! I think this is a Pro as in nosier environments it really blocks out the noise. I even tried sleeping with the earbuds in with just the ANC enabled and was really impressed with being able to sleep comfortably with them in.
I like the hear through setting, so I am able to still listen to music when I just need to hear/talk briefly like when at the shops.
Call quality has been good and I like the side tone option so I am able to hear my own voice which helps me not shout.
    Battery Life:
Around +-5 hours which is great. Once done I pop back into the charging case so they are back to full in no time. The case seems to last forever.
    Conclusion:
Great audio quality, powerful ANC, good battery life. I love them and recommend them to anyone

I chose a gold pair of these stylish compact Jabra 85t earbuds - mentally challenging them to live up to the online hype and positive reviews I'd read online. I am pleasantly surprised, and they continue to live up to expectations. They have a compact case, with power cable (USB connector) and can be wirelessly charged. They come fitted with medium sized soft plastic ear inserts to help them fit snugly yet comfortably in your inner ear (also supplied with two other sizes, small and large). Having initially downloaded the Jabra Sound+ App, within which you can change settings and functionality, i selected a basic run through of how to set them up and use them. There is a fairly comprehensive info and help guide you can access, as well as ability to contact the Jabra tech team for assistance which I did at one point to do with Alexa pairing. The response was quite quick and comprehensive. So far I have been using these earbuds in basic ways that make my life easier, more convenient and life enhancing. When in the car I can ask my phone's google assistant to call someone for me. The call comes through quickly and clearly, whether using the 'hear through' option when I'm driving, or using the seriously good ANC function (Automatic Noise cancelling) when walking next to a road, or doing boring jobs in the garden and noisily cooking and washing up in the kitchen. Both myself and the other person can hear each other clearly and it is a pleasing experience (plus I get pesky jobs and errands done). Music listening wise, I am impressed with the quality of sound when I listen to Viking FM (using their app). Easily comparable to listening via Twin Alexa speakers. I haven't needed to modify any of the settings available to me yet, via the Sound+ App - yet it's comforting to know i can easily tweak things if i wish. This includes Earbud functionality: i can change which earpiece i press and how to control volume, ANC, play, pause and so on. Even though I wasn't used to Earbuds and how to pair them up with my phone, then use them for calls and music - I was able to quickly and easily pick up what to and when, plus avoid cutting calls off!). The only negative I can find, is for now, Alexa pairing/connection option is not available. Hopefully this will be reinstated in the future! Extremely happy with my Jabra 85t earbuds, I believe they are durable and will give me many years of service, definitely rating them as worth their higher price point and can highly recommend them!

I've used these earbuds for a little while now and so far I'm very pleased.

With previous earbuds I've had issues with them not fitting properly in my ear and randomly falling out. That has not happened once with these ones.

They come in a nice little charging case which feels nice and sturdy whilst also being incredibly lightweight. Setup is very straightforward with the Jabra app.

I've used them with my phone and with a laptop and pairing is straightforward with both. The case is small enough that it should fit in everyone's pockets.

The noise cancellation is brilliant. Being able to set the noise cancellation level is a nice touch as well as it allows you to customise the level of cancellation to the specific situation. You might want to block out all sound at one point, but want some noises to filter through more easily in another situation. This way you can.
The easy toggle for HearThrough is very convenient. That way you can temporarily toggle it to see what's going on in the outside world without having to fumble with menus or settings.

I'm very pleased with these. Thumbs up from me.

The Jabra Elite 85t are some of the best true wireless earbuds you can buy. They combine great sound, good noise cancelling, long battery life and a comfortable fit with an excellent, pocketable case and the ability to connect to two devices at the same time. The earbuds produce a rich, highly detailed but balanced sound with excellent dynamic range. Bass is deep, without being dominating; mids are rich in detail and highs are precise. A fully customisable equaliser is available in the Sound+ app to personalise the sound to your hearing, although they sounded great out of the box. The active noise cancelling is equally impressive. Turned up to maximum it was very effective, reducing the sounds of speech, eliminating rumble and unwanted noise but without making you feel completely plugged in or cut off from the outside world. The battery lasts more than five hours of continuous playback with noise cancelling active or about seven with it off. The case can recharge the earbuds a couple of times over, and a quick charge of 15 minutes provides up to an hour of playback

These are really great. Look sleek, great range of bud sizes for that perfect fit, small but secure in the ear, I am really enjoying using them! The case is nice and secure too, the lid stays on tight which is one thing I was worried about. I am finding they have excellant call quality and noise canceling. I tend to use these more at work (I drive HGV lorries so there is constant noise ) during a call I am told you cannot hear background noise or wind blowing, which is fantastic. It is great having everything personalised to myself using the app, I can adjust the noise cancelling, bass etc. The battery life is amazing, the have lasted almost a whole week of pretty heavy use without needing a charge, which is very decent. So far, so good!

Jabra Elite 85t Headphones will not disappoint you as the quality of sound is just superb. I enjoyed them while listening to music or movies on Netflix. You can active a noise cancellation feature which really gets you into maximum focus by blocking any background noise. Sometimes I use this feature just to cancel out my family members when trying to focus on work :) Less favourite I found a new design of the headphones. It doesn't fit as good as Jabra Elite 75t and found them also slightly heavier. The charging pod seems bigger too. I found it a bit frustrating that the right bud losing the charge faster that the left one - according the technical team this is okay because the right one has more features. I would suggest to tweak this and make the left battery slightly stronger. The mic is perfect but could not see a big difference from 75t. The battery life is good too. Overall, the headphones are great but when comparing to model 75t I am not that impressed.

The new Elite 85t are the latest Earbuds from Jabra. Already having a couple of good sets of buds I wasn't expecting to be as impressed as I am. Set up was easy and the customisation is excellent. I have connected them to both my phone and my PC for work. What stands out to me is the pure quality of sound. I use them on conference calls and they work perfectly. Not only are the calls clear and crisp but everyone hears me clearly too. When I'm not on conference calls I listen to music and news on YouTube. All I can say is wow! Music through these buds is outstanding. Battery life is pretty good. I had conference calls for over 5 hours and they just made it. They fit well. I have changed the rubber tips to the largest ones and I find I can wear them for hours with no issues.

Positives: Very easy set up Great sound Quality Comfortable. Noise cancellation is pretty good
    Negatives: Expensive

Conclusion: If you can afford them, well worth the investment.

    The best earbuds of 2021

As a 100% music driven person, I can confirm that I've been trying different earbuds for several years now. This one has beaten all of the rest so far. The reasons are: - The quality of sound is impressive, clear and making me listen every single beat.
    - The noise cancellation is also amazing and you can't hear anything from outside but just the music/voice even if the volume is low, which is great especially if I am in a work meeting.
    - The battery life last days. - It connects/disconnects from your device/Bluetooth so easily that I don't even need to think about it.
    - The comfort in your ear is impeccable and I can't describe how happy and satisfied I am.

Ah, I am using mine to listen to my music and also to do my work meetings and it works perfectly on both.

    Hi.

I want to tell you about my experience with Jabra Elite 85T headphones .

First of all, i want to let you know that earbuds are used mostly by me for music and long conversations. In my opinion Jabra have developed superb noise cancelling system that can separate you from everyday noise, what is important when you make business calls in busy environment.

Battery last pretty good taking price range into consideration. They fit just perfect for me but here we must be clear that everyone have different ears. Sound quality taking music into consideration is average (i would prefer a bit mote kick from low tones), for a phone calls they are perfect.

Microphone could be better but i was testing it mostly in hard weather conditions that's why my opinion can be different to someone who using them in the office.
Overall build and sound quality place them on the same place with other premium brands earbuds in this price range. I can recommend them to every working person who need reliable buds with premium look.

Almost there to create the best bud, Jabra

The first thing I notice about the 85t headphones is that they are bigger and heaver than the 75t and the shape of the earbud are oval as opposed to round. Still they are smaller and ligher than the 65t. Once in the ear they fit better than the previous 2 iterations and I did not notice the weight difference between 75t and 85t. The sound, as usual is great. The most noticeable improvement is the noise cancelling. My work desk is in front of a bus stop and when I turn on ANC I do not hear and traffic or passenger noise. The only down size is that I would not recommend these to do sport in as when I ran in them for 1 mile they felt like they were going to fall out any minute so had to stop and put my 75t buds on instead - I would just wait for an Active version to come out which betters the 65t Active (I was not impressed with 75t Active)

I have been using the 85t headphones for just over a week now. When they arrived, I could tell from the box that they are a quality product and a lot of thought had gone into the product and the packaging. The set up was simple and they connected to my phone really quickly.

I love the fit feature, which through the app allows you to find the best size buds to use. The Noise cancellation is good and gets better the longer you wear them. I like that taking one out causes the audio to pause and it continues playing as you put it back in. The smart feature though is hear through, it does affect battery life, however it’s great when out walking and you want to be more aware of traffic etc. Or if you’re just nosey like me and want to be able to hear what people are saying without being obvious.

The battery life is good, I’ve not had to charge them using the cable or wirelessly since the first charge. I’ve been using them for roughly 2-3 hours a day as a guide.

In terms of using them out and about I have taken them on a few walks and never felt like I need to adjust them or they were falling out. I haven’t used them when out on my bike yet, as I wanted to make sure they felt secure first.

I have used the find my jabra feature in the app already, as I couldn’t find them one morning. The case had fallen out of my pocket and they had gone down the sofa. It was a great relief to know they were in the house.

They are a definite upgrade on the 75t, which were great but lacked wireless charging and a few other little features. The touch controls still take a little getting used to. I would definitely recommend them though, if you’re looking for your first pair of wireless ear buds or looking to upgrade from an older pair.

These earbuds come in a lovely little case that doubles as a charging unit. The lid is very secure so is not likely to lose your earbuds when travelling. it comes with three sizes of flexible plastic ear gels which fit over the bit that goes in your ear (very technical) so that you will have a super fit for anyone's head.
There are three modes that the buds operate in 1) ANC which is noise cancelling. This is very effective for deep noises such as buses and airliners but will not cut out the radio or chatting nearby much. 2) Hear through. this allows you to disable the ANC if you wish to converse with a friend or safely hear everything if you are crossing a busy road. 3) Off
It took me a while to remember all the controls on the unit as both left and right earbuds will respond to click, double click, triple-click and press and hold so there is a lot to learn. I was disappointed that I couldn't change the mode during the middle of a call but that's a minor gripe.
The sound quality is excellent and every bit as good as a high-end over-ears headset. The bass notes are deep and resonant and the treble notes crisp and sharp. I'm no audio expert but it made my favourite music come to life in a way that my previous earbuds did not. I use them for listening to music when running around the park in the morning and also listening to music whilst working during the working day.
In summary, after a little adjustment and learning, I am loving my new Jabra 85t earbuds and would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Jabra are building something of a reputation when it comes to tech-packed earphone smarts. The Elite Active 75t proved popular and now the Elite 85t has bumped up the noise-cancelling and the result is a slightly bulkier set of buds but massively improved sounds with a better balance and deeper base than its predecessor. The noise cancelling is impressive with a tailored MyFit experience driven from the app. HearThrough - an ANC mode that allows key environmental sounds to penetrate the noise-cancelling wall is also impressive. The buds come with a charging case which can be juiced up via cord or wireless charging. Expect about 5 hours of ANC (noise cancelling) from the buds and plenty of top-up time from the case. All in all these are well worth considering if you're looking for stylish earbuds with noise cancelling credentials.

They do everything they claim - cancels all outside noise and lets you enjoy whatever you decide to listen to. I use them mostly for music while i am running and audiobooks when i am walking somewhere. Just pop them in your ears and puff!- all outside noise is history! Easy to charge and comes with three different size ear tips, i found medium to be a perfect fit for me. Really cannot fault these earbuds, but would like to see different colour combinations, like something bright and funky for summer. Sound quality is great, I simply do not feel that i would need any improvement with these. Tucks away in the case when not in use and I will be looking to get a cover to keep it pristine. So overall massive thumbs up from me and they are truly used and enjoyed by myself every day. Definitely wort the money!

So impressed with the ease of pairing with my devices. Noise cancelation is excellent with easy one-click on/off if you need to hear what's going on around you. Sound is punchy and clear. Additional User interface (Android 7 or higher) allows you to easily tune your headset to your ears. Take the time and do the user setup and I doubt you will be disappointed. Works well with a smart tv's that have bluetooth as well. Rarely rate a product so highly but, these headphones are impressive for me and, at a reasonable price for what they deliver. The reason I grabbed these is Noisy Neighbours. Whether you are out walking or tuning out neighbours, you can finely adjust how much of the external noise these negate. So impressed. Check the device you are using for the user interface has Android 7 or higher though. Seems that is the minimum required. There is also a user manual in pdf format online. The interface is not necessary but really makes the difference. Included are S,M,L ear sized plugs and a USB-C to USB plug. So, without an wall plug adapter joining to the USB you will not be able to do much. Absolutely recommend these.

Honestly I am amazed with these! The same music ive been listening to for ages sounds totally different, there are bucket loads of extra sounds that I never knew were there from budget headphones and buds. These really bring out everything in your music and allow you to hear it the way that it was intened to be heared.. remarkable sound and exceptional bass! I found from the box I did have to update them but this was easily done using the advised app. The app also helped me confirm I had the best fit on the earpieces too which was excellent. I needed the larger fittings and they sit perfectly in my ears and only move when I make insane unnatural movements, which I feel is excellent. Very happy with the charging case here, charges really quickly and seems to offer endless amounts of playtime to the earbuds and keeps me supplied with quality sound throughout the day, superb for my needs. As a music fanboy I would say these more more than worth the price for the level of sound quality acheived here, highly recommend these to anyone and everyone!

    Best I've ever heard!

After a lot of hype and excitement, I've tried the new Jabra Elite 85t earbuds and I can say without doubt these are the best I've ever heard. The sound quality is superior which is aided by the Active Noise Cancelling feature with the option to switch to HearThrough mode by simply pressing the earbud. I was amazed how well it blocks out sounds from traffic when outside and even more rewarding when using it indoors as common distractions like juice blenders and loud chatting go unheard. These benefits are most noticeable when making and receiving calls. The clarity is so clear allowing me to stay in contact with clients in Zoom meetings.

Battery life on the Elite 85t lasts between 5.5 and 7.5 hours depending on the settings used. The battery management is great as it can be easily controlled on the app. Sleep Mode preserves battery life by turning off the buds when inactive anywhere between 15 minutes and 2 hours, whichever is preferred. The rest of the time I leave the buds in the case which is magnetized to keep them secure whilst they charge wirelessly. Thanks to Bluetooth 5.0, once charged, my buds pair automatically with my smartphone, tablet or laptop, allowing me to get on with my day.

So if you want wireless earbuds, packed with loads of useful features in a tiny package with great sound, look no further than the Elite 85t.

Having tested two predecessor models (65t and 75t Elite), I was excited to find out what further improvements had been made to this great line of headphones. They fit perfectly and the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) is still their best feature. They also offer long battery life (up to 7 hours of continuous playback) and a stylish charging case with fast charging that extends their life for another 20ish hours. Impressive! This new model adds more microphones with provide better experience with phone calls (my wife attests to it!) but this improvement has also made the earphones slightly heavier. The difference isn’t huge but for my ears it’s enough for the headphones to be slightly more prone to falling out. They feel a touch less stable than 75t Elite. This shouldn’t put you off buying these but I’m not sure if the hefty price mark justifies the minor improvements to the new model. Overall, these are great if you’re new to the world of truly wireless headphones. Best features are ANC and long battery life further enhanced the fast charging case.
