    Microsoft Wireless Intellimouse Explorer Review

Conclusion Overall, Microsoft has done a great job in producing a mouse that combines both wireless and optical technology. Its power saving features and good performance make it a great choice for anyone in the market for a wireless mouse. A lot of you will find that its price is quite steep however, you will certainly not be disappointed should you decide to purchase this mouse. Of course, the tests I carried out are purely subjective and I definitely recommend that you test the mouse out for yourself before you buy it, as opinions will vary from person to person. The main question many of you will be asking is if you should upgrade to the Wireless Intellimouse Explorer if you already own a previous corded Intellimouse (Explorer or Optical). Unless you require a wireless mouse or really like the Wireless Explorer's design, I do not feel that it is necessary upgrade when the corded Explorer provides the same, if not better performance. However, if you are in the market for a new mouse then you should definitely take a look at the Wireless Intellimouse Explorer. Not only is it the most comfortable mouse I have ever used, it also provides great performance. Its power saving features and Intellipoint 4.0 software definitely raise the standard of wireless/optical mousing. The bottom line is, the Wireless Intellimouse Explorer is a great mouse but its high price might make it slightly beyond reach for some users. Positive * Excellent design * Great performance * Wireless * Power saving features * Great software makes the mouse highly customizable Negative * High price * No left handed version available Rating: 8.5/10
