    Ordering online was simple and delivery was prompt only problem was the corrier damage my purchase
    Phoned customer support and they could not appologise enough. The next day damaged it was picked up and replacement delivered with a gift card. That's Service.

    I'm always sceptical when ordering white good online, however I decided to order a cooker and it was a smooth process. From looking at their wide range and all details/specs provided. The cooker arrived on the date and during the times we arranged and the delivery men were more than helpful getting it up to my apartment. A great service from start to finish and very happy with the cooker.

    It's a shame to hear all these bad experiences people have had, I'm sure they have been tiring and annoying to sort.
    For me so far, I have had great service. I have bought their own lines for washing machine and cooker - no issues. As for fridge freezer and dryer we bought Beko, which isn't expensive and again no problems. Staff were good and service was great.
    What I'm reading is the lack of problem ownership by curry's. If a customer has a problem there should be only one contact who sorts the problem till the end

    I ordered a product online on12.11, was charged for it, was given confirmation email and delivery date.
    Delivery did not arrived. I had to call them 3 times over 3 days to only be informed that my payment wasn't processed (but I was still charged).
    The purchase was cancelled on 19.11. I was told I will recive a refund the next day, no later then 3-5 working days.
    Now I has been over 2 weeks more. I had called them 4 times already since then, waiting 30 minutes on the line each time, just to be given more ecuses why I wasn't refunded.
    Spoke to the manager yesterday who said he will get back to me the same day - obviously he didn't.

    Just purchased an iron for Currys:TEFAL Turbo Pro Anti Scale FV5640 Steam Iron - Black & Green.
    Whilst the iron is great and really please, the down side is the lead, no where near long enough.
    We waited for 10 minutes to be served when there were staff members stood around not doing anything. The lady that served us was really pleasant, but don't understand why we were kept waiting?

    Bought a PS4 in the Black Friday sale from PC World. Ordered it for Click and Collect on the morning of Friday thinking I'd be able to pick it up that day (like Argos). Had to wait 24 hours for them to actually deliver the item (do they not have PS4's in store?) at about 4pm the following day

    Travelled 60 miles round trip to collect from their Telford store as that is the closest to me. Went and collected a sealed bag which apparently had all the items in it, the PS4 and the game bundle.

    Got home and got the PS4 out - no games bundle. Tried calling but no answer - phone number actually given on e-mail for enquiries had been changed from an 0844 number to an 03 number but no-one has bothered to change the e-mails (very poor!)

    Following day finally got through to someone after waiting on the phone for over 30 minutes listening to a repeated message that they know I am waiting...

    Was told by customer service person on phone that their should be an extra package which is waiting at the store, they'd made a mistake as they'd sent the two packages separately on two different vehicles and so that is why I'd only received one package. I was told I'd have to go down there to collect the package - even though I pointed out to the staff that the store is 30 miles away.

    Drove out to the store, very annoyed at this point and explained to the person the situation and that I'd had to drive 60 miles to fix a problem which they'd created and that I'd been waiting on the phone for over 30 minutes for someone to answer at a national line (which everyone from the entire UK who was trying to get in touch with a PC World somewhere in the UK would be calling - why not give numbers out to local shops if the central depot can't handle calls of this volume then people aren't waiting as long and are speaking to the appropriate people). Store clerk went over to get a manager who abruptly come to me and immediately demanded to know what this was all about. I explained to her that I'd had to drive 60 miles to get the rest of my console because they'd made a mistake.

    Her attitude was just to remind me it is Black Friday - hmmm??? so does that mean you give worse customer service to people who got a deal on Black Friday???, she then went to get the package and just pushed it immediately into my hands. No apology for the error, not even the offer of a gift card as compensation for the petrol wasted. I did mention that really there should be some compensation considering how far I live from the store and it's not my fault that they can't be bothered building a store closer to Ludlow.

    Manager just passed the buck and told me that as it was online order she can't deal with compensation enquiries and that I'd have to call the enquiries line on Tuesday to see if they'll reimburse me for the travel expenses caused by their mistake.

    Absolutely appalling customer service, manager made me feel like I'd caused the problem and not them. I nearly bought the PS4 from somewhere else as I've had bad dealings with PC World in the past in their other stores, but PC World were offering Fallout 4 with the bundles too which no-one else was - but seeing as CeX sell Fallout 4 for £8 I should have just bought the console from somewhere else and saved myself 2 gallons of petrol with PC World's mess up, certainly will give PC World a wide berth next Black Friday (or anytime in the future) if that's what they think of their customers.

    Bought an LG OLED TV and there were issues with it (manufacturing) Currys were excellent had a replacement the day after agreeing on a replacement and they took the faulty one away at the same time. Very impressive service and following a further problem with the same model TV they have agreed a full refund. Cant ask for better service.

    Please do not buy anything from these people

    Ordered an apple laptop and waited four weeks for it to arrive in store (after constantly ringing them up for an update on delivery) only to find they had given it to someone else.

    Their explanation was they do not hold on to any item that is order ,so its first come first served, rediclous I know ,but then it came to getting my money back that took another two weeks .I would never buy as much as a paper clip ever again from these people ,their customer care is a joke , be warned

    Curry's have greatly improved over the years and now have a decent amount of stock, some genuine bargains and, actually, some fairly knowledgeable and passionate staff.
    I greatly enjoy shopping there and always browse whenever my wife drags me out of my cave.

    Please don't buy this product at PC world.
    I order it and paid it online. there was a such chaos to pick it up. The item was not there, when I went there. Then the shop assistant told me to refund it and re-buy it. I went to the refund desk and queued. But the refund/exchange desk stuff said then I have to claim to refund online. Now I am home and trying to make a refund online..their online system has an error, does not direct me to refund page, showing the message to call 0344 561 0000 and it is holding me ages (more than 10mins) in the queue over the phone. What a Waste of Time and Money! Do NOT go the PC world, if you care if your time!

    Have purchased many different products from them over the years. Considering they are an actual physical store their prices are amazing. They usually beat any online retailer. Highly recommended.
